A large electronics catalogue needed one storefront that could serve both retail and wholesale buying behaviors.

Designed forRetail shoppers, wholesale buyers, and institutional accounts

A deep technical catalogue had to support quick retail purchases as well as bulk ordering and quote requests.

I looked at how people navigated more than 100 subcategories and where retail and wholesale needs diverged.

  • Structured category and product patterns for a deep catalogue of technical products.
  • Designed one storefront to support both retail checkout and wholesale purchasing needs.
  • Added bulk quick-order and quote-request flows for institutional accounts.

A shared storefront with clearer category patterns, standard checkout, bulk quick-order, and quote-request flows.

Clearer category templates with standard checkout, bulk quick-order, and quote-request flows

Good eCommerce structure is especially important when the catalogue is technical: people should spend their time choosing products, not decoding the site.
